My name is Neil Bason, I’m a copywriter and marketer with fifteen years of experience in the industry.

But that’s the boring bit, right?

What sets me apart is my work in other areas that translate beautifully into the marketing and copywriting arena.

I am a multi-award-winning screenwriter whose films have amassed over 70 awards worldwide, picked up gongs in Cannes, London, and Paris, have been screened in New York and Beverly Hills, and boast acting royalty Tom Conti among the cast and music pioneer Nick Mason on the soundtrack.

I am also a playwright with a debut ghost story, Eveyln, opening for 2025 in St. Ives, Cornwall at the iconic Porthmeor Studios.

I am a former print journalist for the Cornish Guardian Newspaper.

I was the main scriptwriter for Previously, on… a Sky Atlantic-supported podcast that took a deep dive into the world’s biggest TV shows.

I have written a children’s book tackling childhood anxiety, and I am a published poet.

Elsewhere, I am a father to six incredible children, husband to a very patient wife, and enjoy life in deepest South West Cornwall.

All these surreal, wonderful experiences have equipped me with the tools to create outstanding copy and marketing materials. My writing shines through, and I take utter joy in storytelling, which is at the heart of every business’s success.
